Love

Love is sweet at first,
As you will feel that,
There is someone,
Accompanying you,
Share your laughter,
Share your tears,
Share your joy,
Share your burden,
You will never be lonely again,
Because at least,
Someone will be thinking of you,
Loving you,
Pining for you,
Everything is perfect.

As time passes,
You know more about him,
His strengths,
One by one,
Starts to become his weakness,
Whatever attracts you at first,
Is getting repelling to you,
Problems start to surface,
When love no longer blinds you,
When your rational mind starts to be in control,
He used to be caring,
He is now needy and possessive,
He used to help whenever he can,
He is now restless with your rumblings,
Instead of sharing your trouble,
He is now your burden,

Previously, an hour with him seems a minute,
Now, a minute with him seems an hour.
You are asking for time out,
Instead of more time to hang out.

Love is just like a pebble,
Everyone wish to pick up the best,
But how would you know,
When you will get it?
Or even you had it in your grasp,
Yet you felt unsatisfied,
We always feel that,
Grass is always greener on the other pasture,
As we haven’t knew them enough.
However,
Do remember,
Everything changes,
Once you set your heart and mind,
You had the power to change,
Instead of picking other pebbles randomly,
Why don’t you polish up the pebble,
That you had caught your eyes,
Everything happens for a reason.

Do you understand?
Do not simply pick,
Then throw it away,
It may break,
And once broken,
It is never the same ever again.
You may be denying others a chance,
To pick up their perfect pebble.

Treasure with what you have,
That is the start of love,
The pure, innocent love,
Do not allow your heart to run wild,
Do not simply let go,
The pebble then will not slip away.
